Facilities

Christian Church Services are held on an irregular basis in residents homes or in the community hall. Most residents of Wallace Rockhole come from a Lutheran tradition, Wallace Rockhole having been an outstation of the Finke River Mission/Hermannsburg pastoral lease.

Wallace Rockhole is served by the officers of the Hermannsburg Police station, the phone number is (08) 89567422.

The Health Clinic is operated by the NT Department of Health. Qualified sisters and a Doctor visit regularly, and Aboriginal Health Workers are available most hours. Council supplies a dedicated vehicle for emergency transport to Alice Springs.

Accommodation is available at the Tourist Park. Cabins grassed powered and un-powered sites are also available for vans and campers. Contact Art Centre on (08) 8956 7993 for details and bookings.

Wallace Rockhole has a community store stocked with basic necessities. It operates from 11am - 12noon & 4pm -5pm Monday > Friday.

Fuel is available from the Council during normal office hours monday to friday, and through the store on weekends.

The Arts Centre is open concurrently with the Community Store.

A small zoo is accessable all hours with no charge.
